Understanding ratings
Learn how ratings work, where they're displayed, and how to build a strong reputation on Temp.
Why ratings matter
Temp's rating system is the foundation of the platform. Instead of traditional resumes, businesses hire based on real feedback from past jobs. Your rating is your career profile—it demonstrates your skills and reliability.
How you're rated
At the end of each job, your employer rates you on four categories, each out of 25 points:
- Work Ethic: Your dedication and effort
- Attitude: Your professionalism and positivity
- Communication: How well you communicate with the team
- Self-Management: Your ability to work independently
You rate employers too
After completing a job, you'll rate your employer on Induction, Management, Communication, and Culture. Your feedback helps other workers make informed decisions and keeps businesses accountable.
What if I get a bad rating?
One lower rating won't define you. Thanks to how averages work, the more jobs you complete with high ratings, the less impact any single lower rating will have. Focus on consistently delivering great work.
The more jobs you work with good ratings, the stronger and more resilient your overall rating becomes.
