Understand how payments work, tax responsibilities, and when to expect your money.

How payments work
Once your job provider approves your timesheet and clicks Pay Now, payment is transferred directly to your bank account. Payments typically take 3-7 business days, but are usually faster after your first payment.
Check your bank details
Make sure your bank account number is entered correctly in your settings. Temp cannot amend or recover mis-sent payments.
Tax responsibilities
When you work through Temp, you're an independent contractor. This means you're responsible for paying your own taxes.
Recommended: Use Hnry
We recommend using Hnry to automatically handle your tax payments for just 1% of your earnings. If you use Hnry, update your bank account number in settings to your unique Hnry account number.
Payment timeline
- Job provider posts job (payment pre-authorized for first week)
- You complete the work and submit your timesheet
- Job provider approves your hours
- Job provider clicks Pay Now
- Money arrives in your bank (3-7 business days)
