Understand how the rating system works and why honest feedback helps the entire Temp community.

How ratings work

Temp's rating system is fundamental to how businesses hire on the platform. Instead of reviewing resumes, you can hire based on real feedback from past jobs—giving you a realistic picture of how a worker will perform.

After completing a job and approving timesheets, you'll be prompted to rate each worker on four categories:

  • Work Ethic (out of 25)
  • Attitude (out of 25)
  • Communication (out of 25)
  • Self-Management (out of 25)
Total score

The four ratings add up to 100. Please give honest ratings—it's what helps businesses hire faster and workers build their reputation.

Where ratings appear

Worker ratings are displayed on their profile and visible to all businesses. This helps future employers quickly assess candidates and make confident hiring decisions.

Workers rate you too

Temp is a two-way street. Workers also rate businesses after each job, and your rating appears on your company profile and job posts. A good rating helps you attract better candidates.

Build your reputation

The more jobs you complete with good ratings, the stronger your reputation becomes. One lower rating won't hurt if you have a solid track record.
